On his last attempt, he left the palace through the north gate and there he saw to his surprise, a monk, the serene, calm and progressed with great inner peace. As Gautama Buddha monk that looked closer, he was deeply impressed by his great charisma and this reinforced the great attraction that the life of a monk already had previously applied to him.
